We preserve your flame

Open any book
You can read it

As long as you bring your PDF books.

A sanctuary for your library. Designed to replace the noise of the screen with the depth of the page.

Bring some PDFs and start reading. Free is 1 GB, the whole reader and full-text search, with no card; meaning search and the assistant are Pro.

Organize

Library manager

Browse your library by folder, select any number of books at once, and act on all of them together.

Tags-based library

Tag your books, then index them for full-text or semantic search, and have the assistant read each one and summarise it — all in bulk.

Behavioral profiles

Keep your philosophy reading separate from your other readings.

Flexible storage

Add more storage exactly when you need it.

Read

PDF viewer

Smooth at any zoom, on any document — the page is the only thing you notice.

Built-in dictionary

Tap a word for its meaning, right where you're reading — no new tab, no losing your place.

Bookmarks

Mark any page, and jump straight back to it whenever you like.

Read aloud, your way

A fast local voice for offline reading, or a natural AI voice when you want one — you choose.

Select it, then decide

Highlight a passage and choose what happens to it: define it, hear it, or ask about it.

Tuned for touch

Pinch to zoom, and a menu built for your thumb instead of a mouse.

Understand

Full-text search

Find the exact sentence, across a thousand books.

Semantic search

Ask a question. Find the answer, even if the words are different.

Smart assistant

Builds a table of contents, fetches the web, and edits your PDF directly — picking the thinking mode and tools each job needs.

A private mind for private thoughts

Zero-Data Retention. Nothing you ask is kept by the provider, or used to train anything.

Private by nature. Shared by choice.

Your workspace is private the day you sign up, and stays that way until you invite someone into it. Bring a person into your circle and they read from your shelves without your library leaving your account — joining is free on any plan; hosting a circle of your own is Pro.

What we do with your documents

Nothing you did not ask for.

Encrypted before it is stored
Every file is encrypted at rest. Covers and extracted text are held the same way.
Never used to train a model
Requests to model providers carry a zero-retention policy. Nothing you upload is kept by a provider or trained on.
Yours to take away
Your documents download exactly as they came. Annotations and bookmarks are kept beside them and export with them, and you can write annotations into the PDF whenever you want them permanent.

Pricing

Priced on what it does, and how much you keep.

Never on how many people you share it with. AI and extra storage run on credits you top up when you want them.

Keep a library online and search it.

Questions

Before you upload anything.

What files can I put in it?

PDFs. That is the format the reader, the extraction pipeline and the annotation tools are built around, and nothing else is supported today.

What does “AI runs on credits” mean in practice?

Your plan decides whether the assistant, semantic search and speech are reachable. What they cost is drawn from a credit balance rather than charged per feature, so a month you do not use them costs nothing extra. Pro comes with 1,000 credits a month, or 12,000 at once on the yearly plan, and you can top up with a credit pack when it runs low.

Do I pay per person to share a library?

No, on any plan. A workspace costs the same with fifty people in it as with one. Joining a workspace someone else runs is free, and you can put your own books on its shelves; running one of your own is the part that needs Pro.

Can I keep separate kinds of reading apart?

Yes, on any plan. A profile keeps your maths books from meeting your novels: separate shelves and separate tags, switched from the sidebar. On Pro it also splits the assistant, so two kinds of work stop sharing a memory. A workspace is the other axis — the same documents, a different set of people.

What happens to my library if I stop paying?

Your account moves back to Free, which holds 1 GB. Meaning search and the assistant switch off; the reader, your annotations, your tags and full-text search do not. If you are over 1 GB, we email you the date and the books that would be removed, and remind you two days before. After seven days, your largest books are removed until you are under 1 GB, and we email you what was removed. Download anything you want to keep in the meantime.

How much is 10 GB?

Roughly two to three thousand ordinary books, and a good deal fewer if yours are scanned. Past that, you choose how much more you want, and you pay 20 credits a gigabyte a month for what you actually store — 100 GB works out at $9.80 including the subscription.

What if my credits run out while I use extra storage?

Uploads pause and we email you. Add credits, or delete books until you are back under 10 GB, within seven days. If neither happens, your largest books are removed until you are, and nothing is owed after that.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Your first subscription payment is refundable for 14 days, less $1 for every 1,000 credits of that payment's own allowance you spent — at most $1 on a monthly plan and $12 on a yearly one. Credits you bought separately are never counted against it. Renewals are not automatically refundable, but if you forgot to cancel and have not used the period, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it. Credit packs come back in full if the credits are unspent. If something was broken or you were charged for what you did not get, we fix that whenever you tell us, with no deduction.

What happens if I leave a shared workspace?

You lose access to what that workspace shares, and the documents you brought in go back to your own workspace. Nothing of yours is deleted.

Can I buy a plan today?

No, and you are not asked for a card. There is no checkout behind these prices — they are the ones we intend to charge once there is one. Only the free plan is open.

Read like you are going to change something.

Bring the first hundred documents and search every page of them. The free plan needs no card. It is the library, the reader and full-text search — the assistant and read-aloud are Pro, and Pro is not for sale yet. Nothing you upload is used to train anything.
